Why recalibrate?
The camera behind the windscreen reads lane markings, road signs and vehicles ahead. It drives lane keeping, emergency braking, sign recognition and automatic high beam. A new windscreen shifts its position very slightly: without calibration these systems can react wrongly.
Where is it done?
Only at our Roodt-sur-Syre workshop, never at your door: calibration needs a level floor, controlled lighting and reference targets. If your windscreen was replaced at home, we agree the workshop visit with you, usually the same or the next day.
Who does it?
Our team includes an electronics engineer. Cameras are calibrated on Gutmann equipment; radar and matrix headlights are handled by Garage Schweitzer's bodywork workshop. Every calibration ends with a report you keep.
How long does it take?
It depends on the vehicle and the manufacturer's procedure. We tell you the duration when booking.
